#Prototyping

Electronic prototyping to test your product

An electronic prototype lets you test product hardware and software before production. We design, simulate and build a physical version to compare the idea with its intended use.

Test a function before committing to the design

An idea can be clear while questions remain about electronics, embedded software, connectivity or physical format. A prototype answers those questions with something that can be used and reviewed. It is not a final product version and does not, on its own, demonstrate readiness for every operating environment or the later manufacturing stage.

We define what needs checking before building. It may be the behaviour of a new function, the interaction between several parts or an adaptation of an existing product. Scope is tied to specific requirements so that the test produces useful information for deciding what to keep, what to adjust and what needs another iteration.

Electronics, software and physical form working together

We design, simulate and build physical prototypes using 3D printing and CNC milling. Rapid hardware and software prototyping supports validation before production. The test version brings together the layers needed for the case: electronics, control logic, communications and integration with the tools involved in its use. Their behaviour together matters as much as each separate function.

Where reusable technology fits, we use it. If your team has developed part of the solution, we agree interfaces to add what is missing without replacing useful work. Prototyping does not require starting from scratch: it can also be a way of checking an improvement to equipment that already works.

From test results to the next stage

We review the result against the intended validation. Limitations must remain clear: a functional demonstration may leave consumption, environmental conditions, integration or manufacturing preparation unresolved. The next step is agreed using that information, not the appearance of a finished product or an assumption that all remaining questions have been answered.

Testing and certification are carried out by the relevant laboratory or accredited body; a prototype does not replace them. How we prepare the design for them is covered under custom electronics development.

A prototype is tested on the bench, under our control. If you need to check it in your real operation, the next step is a technology pilot.

Colmenar Viejo · Madrid

We work from Madrid, Spain. To discuss the work, share the function you want to test, the intended environment and available designs or equipment. We define the tests, deliverables and decision that the prototype should make possible.
